The Singles Encounter (SE) is a retreat weekend sponsored by the Bukas Loob sa Diyos Covenant
Community (BLD), focusing on the needs of single Christian men and women.
The goal of the weekend is to help participants strengthen their faith in God, find peace with
themselves, and learn to truly love those around them.
Under the guidance of a Spiritual Director (priest), the retreat is led by a number of SE graduates. In
talks delivered over the course of the weekend, these graduates draw from their life experiences and
their relationships with God to speak of our need for God and for others, and to testify to the
transforming power of Jesus Christ. Before and after each talk, participants have the opportunity to
reflect, share, and pray. We’ll also be fervently praying for you! Our hope is that each person who
attends is touched by the grace of God.

What is a Singles Encounter?
The Singles Encounter is a refreshing experience of withdrawing to a quiet place to take a fresh look at
life and to interact on common ground with other Christian Singles. There’s something for everyone
regardless of age or stage in life.
Who can attend the SE?
This retreat is open to all single individuals, never been married and no children ages 21 and above.
(Must be 21 years old by August 11).Available slots are limited.
